April 1, 2020

Dear Colleagues,

We’re exceedingly proud that in recent years DERMfoot has been amongst the fastest growing podiatric meetings in the nation! We entirely owe this to you and the entire podiatric community. That being said, as you know, these are exceedingly challenging times for us all, and DERMfoot is not exception to that fact.

Our country’s response to the difficulties presented by COVID-19 has been incredible and unprecedented.  While these actions will help to flatten the pathogen’s dissemination curve, the associated sacrifices will persist, for our professional lives, our families, and even educational initiatives such as DERMfoot.

While CME is the primary reason why we attend meetings and seminars, seeing, talking to, and learning from one another during these events is extremely valuable for the improvement of our professional practices. In addition, it’s simply refreshing to mix with our professional peers. While online-CME can fill a specific need, it’s never as satisfying as face-to-face learning/communication.

To accommodate DERMfoot’s loyal attendees, and based on the feedback from the overwhelming majority of the registrant physicians for DERMfoot 2020, we have rescheduled this year’s annual meeting to October 1-4,2020 and it will be held at the Hilton Washington Dulles Airport in Herndon, Virginia. If you have already registered for the originally scheduled event (April 16-19, 2020), your registration will be automatically transferred to the October 1-4, 2020 event.

With the help of physicians like you, we believe DERMfoot will emerge stronger than ever before!

Respectfully,

Dr. Joel Morse and Dr. Annette Joyce, Conference Chairs
