Virtual Seminar: DERMfoot 2020

This is the first year DERMfoot is presenting a Virtual Seminar. You will receive the same exceptional education from any location! DERMfoot is collaborating with CMEOnline to bring our remote attendees an extraordinary live-streaming experience, as well as the opportunity to connect with our vendors from inside the virtual exhibit hall.

Live Activity is defined by CPME as “A continuing educational activity available at a certain time, on a certain date, and available only in real-time, just as if it were a CE activity held in an auditorium. Once the event has taken place, learners may no longer participate in that activity). An evaluation process will be required at the completion of the activity. Attendance verifications are mandated during the seminar.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the standards and requirements for approval of providers of continuing education in podiatric medicine through a joint provider agreement between CMEOnline and DERMfoot Educational Ventures, LLC. CMEOnline is approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education as a provider of continuing education in podiatric medicine. CMEOnline has approved this activity for a maximum of 25 continuing education contact hours.

  • What if I want to transfer my current in-person registration to the virtual participation?
    • All attendees will receive a personal customized link from GoToWebinar to participate in the live-streaming, virtual seminar. There is no need
      to “transfer” your registration.
  • How do I access the live-streaming, virtual sessions?
    • GoToWebinar will send you a custom personalized link to the email address you provided during your DERMfoot seminar registration
      process. This private link will connect you to the live-streaming sessions, hosted on the GoToWebinar platform. Please remember, this
      email will come from GoToWebinar and will have DERMfoot in the subject. For any technical difficulties with your computer or
      connection during the meeting call GoToWebinar Support at (877) 582-7011.The day before the seminar, Wednesday, September 30th, you will receive a second email. If you do not receive a LINK, call 631-866-5263 (CMEOnline).To access the webinar:Click the button that says “Join Webinar” in the email you receive to access the live-streaming sessions, beginning Thursday,
      October 1st at 7:30 AM EST.  GoToWebinar will be the Broadcast provider. LECTURE TIMES ARE ALL EASTERN STANDARD.IMPORTANT – The link in your email is specific to you and will be used to determine your continuing education contact hours. If you lose your connection to the vent at any time, use the same link to re-join the event.Your confirmation email will include a link that you can use to test the audio and video on your device one week prior to the event.   • What if I cannot participate during the hours of the virtual live-streaming?
    • DERMfoot 2020 will not offer pre-record lectures of the seminar. All participants must be available during the hours of the program to
      receive the full 25 CECH. The live-streaming event will be taking place in Virginia, please note, the hours posted are Eastern Standard.
  • Unable to locate your email or you didn’t receive one?
    • Check your spam folder for an email from customercare@gotowebinar.com. The virtual aspect of DERMfoot is being
      hosted by a third party, CMEOnline and Dr. Michael Brody. The confirmation email will come from GoToWebinar.com. Please contact

  • How is attendance taken and what are the requirements?
    • Attendance will be taken at different times each day, at least once during the morning and afternoon sessions. You MUST sign-in during
      attendance to receive credit for participating. You will be instructed by the moderator how to provide your attendance sign-in.
    • Your login time will be recorded and used to determine the amount of Continuing Education Contact Hours (CECH) earned. This
      information is sent to the Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME) for verification and cannot be altered, modified, or changed in
      any way. The amount of CECH earned will be based upon the amount of time spent watching sessions in real time; for example, if you
      login at 8 AM and stop watching at 8:30 AM, you will earn .5 CECH for the session.
    • It is imperative to watch without breaks during the live sessions to earn all credits. Breaks will be provided between sessions at
      designated times. Please refer to the seminar agenda for detailed information.
  • Does the PICA discount extend to virtual attendees?
    • Absolutely. Attend the entire lecture presented by Roya Mira, DPM on Saturday, October 3, from 2.30PM – 3:30 PM to receive your CECH and the 10% discount.
  • Is there a Virtual Exhibit Hall?
    • Yes! There will be a Virtual Exhibit Hall with vendors showcasing their products and services. Interact via LiveChat in their virtual booths.
  • How and when will I receive my CECH certificate?
    • CECH earned during the seminar, whether participating virtually or in-person, will be manged by CMEOnline. Certificates will be provied by
      CMEOnline no later than October 31, 2020. If you lose your certificate, you can visit http://www.cmecerts.com to obtain a replacement.
